Gone are the days are style being spoon-fed to us through glossy magazine pages or static Instagram posts. Today’s generation is putting their trust into fashion influencers are TikTok, they’ve quickly become trailblazers, transforming our FYPs into OOTDs, behind-the-scenes footage of the industry, and a front-row seat at the most exclusive fashion shows.

The transition from Instagram to TikTok was almost seamless. Most of course have a following on Instagram, but most find a larger following and better engagement on TikTok. These style savants have not only adapted but thrived, ushering in an era of fashion that is as eclectic as it is personal. Another artist, because of course they know how to dress, Ada is an illustrator based out of Olso. Her style is fun and expressive, and I’m kinda obsessed with how cute she and her boyfriend are.

Maya Chantout

If you don’t know who Maya Chantout is… where have you been? She’s an icon in her own right, having worked with some of the most prestigious luxury fashion houses in the world and now works as the creative director of Miræ (which may be the coolest job in the world). Trust me when I say after you lurk her you’ll be googling “how to get a fashion intern” and “fashion jobs near me”.

I had to give love to another Toronto girly of course, and Kaela’s content is a mix of fashion, beauty, and everything in between. After watching a few of her videos you’ll have a wishlist of items you just need to get.
