Guster proudly announces their highly anticipated new album, "Ooh La La," to be released on May 17 via Ocho Mule Records, with pre-orders available now. The album, their ninth studio release and first in over five years, features the debut single "Keep Going," accompanied by an official music video on the Guster YouTube channel.

The album, primarily produced by Josh Kaufman at Woodstock's Isokon Studio, marks a departure from their previous work, embracing a lush sound with acoustic guitars and piano work. Additional production from Ron Aniello and Rich Costey adds warmth to the album, which explores the complexities of modern life.

“Most of these songs were written against the backdrop of what felt like an apocalypse,” says Guster lead vocalist/guitarist/bassist Ryan Miller. “It was such a transformative time, and we were dealing with a lot of existential questions about what it means to be a father, a husband, a creative person in the midst of all the chaos.”

“One of the main reasons we’re still a band is the fans who’ve come to see us for years,” adds Miller, “the people who show us the tattoos they’ve gotten with our lyrics. It inspires us to stay creative and stay fearless, instead of just making the same record over and over. Everything we do is in service of that connection, and at this point I’d say we’re definitely lifers.”

Guster expresses gratitude for their dedicated fan base, whom they credit for inspiring their continued creativity and fearlessness in their musical journey. The band plans to celebrate their three-decade career with the "We Also Have Eras Tour," featuring special performances highlighting their evolution from their debut album, "Parachute," to "Ooh La La." The tour includes festival appearances and special shows commemorating the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album, "Lost and Gone Forever."
