Lulu Simon Releases Pop Drama Single 'Stay', Capturing the Tug-of-War of Love's End
Exploring Love's Complexities in a Bold New Single by the Sensitive-Pop Maestro
Self-styled as a "sensitive-pop" virtuoso, Lulu Simon is making waves with her latest track, “Stay.”
This new single isn't just another pop song; it's a vivid exploration of the tumultuous end of a relationship, capturing the intense oscillation between missing and resenting a former love.
Lulu dives deep into the song's essence, revealing, “Stay was inspired by my deep love for drama and maximalist pop. I wanted to create a song that lays bare the conflicting emotions at the end of a relationship—the longing, the blame, and all the delusions.”
Currently igniting stages across the country, Lulu Simon is on tour with alt-pop sensation EMEI. With upcoming shows in cities like Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, and Los Angeles, Lulu is set to enchant audiences with her unique brand of pop. Each performance is an opportunity to experience the raw emotion and dramatic flair that define her music.
For those eager to join Lulu on this journey of sensitive-pop and maximalist drama, the full tour schedule is available on her website. Don't miss your chance to witness the musical storytelling of Lulu Simon as she brings the complexities of love, pain, and passion to life on stage.
About Lulu Simon:
On her 6th birthday, Lulu Simon blew out her candles and wished that she wrote “Lucky” by Britney Spears. While the universe couldn’t make that happen, it was clear to Lulu as she grew up that she was destined to write songs and make music.
Influenced by modern artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen and Kim Petras, Lulu is able to fill a space in the current pop scene by bringing a singer-songwriter mentality to big pop productions. With Rolling Stone acclaiming her music as “the type of synth-heavy anthems that are needed for a perfect summer soundtrack,” Lulu is poised for success.
Last year, Lulu released her sophomore EP Muscle Memory, which featured five brand new songs perfect for screaming at the top of your lungs alone in your car. Muscle Memory outlines what Lulu would describe as a snapshot of her experience of going through the stages of grief after losing a relationship.
