It’s been a hell of a month for pop-folk artist Yoke Lore; his song “Beige,” has been officially certified platinum by the RIAA, while his song “The Score,” is going to be getting some star treatment of its own as it will be featured on this Thursday’s episode of the ABC hit drama Grey’s Anatomy, titled “Take Me to Church.”

On “Beige”, Yoke Lore (aka Adrian Galvin) says, “This song is about love, unfulfilled…It’s about wanting something more. But throughout its 6 or 7 year lifespan, it has become so important to so many people. It has become such a fixture of feeling within people’s lives, tied to big moments of love and loss, arresting time and space like only a song can. Beige has re-written its own story, it has fulfilled itself by incorporating itself into the drama of reality. This song started as a lament, and now it’s a celebration. It is a privilege to have added some beauty to the universe.”

As is evident on both “Beige” and “the Score”,  Galvin’s distinctive approach with thoughtful reflection and raw, unfiltered honesty, transcends songcraft and genre into an intricately hewed vision altogether his own.

On top of these successes, Yoke Lore will embark on“The Autumn Amble: An Introspective Spectacular,” an epic US headline tour that starts October 25 in Roseville, CA. The tour is also for a good cause: he will be partnering with Propeller, a platform that offers fans a chance to earn tickets and meet & greet by supporting causes like Reproductive Freedom For All, HeadCount, and Everytown for Gun Safety.

In addition, Yoke Lore will join Briston Maroney at “Briston Maroney Presents: Paradise (3rd Annual Festival),” a multi-artist event set for November 15 at Nashville, TN’s Brooklyn Bowl Nashville.
