Charli XCX and Billie Eilish in new music video for “Guess” remix

Just yesterday we reported that it was officially the end of BRAT Summer, but it seems Charli XCX has found a way to keep the energy alive with the release of yet another remix that’s sure to top the charts. On Thursday Charli and Billie Eilish released a remix for Charli’s song “Guess”, and let’s just say the internet is freaking the f*** out.

The music video, directed by Aidan Zamiri, features a steamy party (our invite must have gotten lost in the mail) and a ton (seriously, so much), of underwear, playing into Charli’s cheeky lyrics: “You wanna guess the color of my underwear/You wanna know what I got going on down there.”

It seems Billie’s invite also got lost in the mail because mid-video she crashes a tractor into the party, spitting lyrics like “lacy black pair with the little bows/the ones I picked out for you in Tokyo.”

If you were unsure if Billie was entering her ‘hey mamas’ era, her verse on this remix pretty much confirms it: “Charli likes boys but she knows I’d hit it,” Billie sings alongside a smirk that’s already been made into a gif that stan Twitter can’t stop retweeting (no we won’t call it X).

The pair walk through a dystopian panty wonderland, but worry not, all the bras and underwear that litter the streets were donated to I Support the Girls, which is a nonprofit organization that distributes undergarments and menstrual hygiene products to those experiencing homelessness.

Charli did warn us she would see us next week after outlets declared the end of BRAT summer (us included, oppies), and she didn’t disappoint.

As BRAT continues to reach unprecedented mainstream success, even galvanizing memes for the Kamala Harris presidential campaign and breaking the internet with the “Girl, So Confusing,” remix with Lorde, one has to wonder if BRAT summer will ever really be over…
