Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist Carina Allen, known as rlyblonde, is back with her latest single, "Dumb Blonde." The track, filled with energetic guitar riffs and sharp, introspective lyrics, is an irresistibly catchy pop-rock anthem.

"Dumb Blonde" delves into rlyblonde’s internal struggle with the voice in her head that warns of impending chaos. "Life is unpredictable," she notes. “One day you’re on top of the world, the next day you’re having a meltdown…you’re never going to hit a point where you stop facing challenges, especially as an artist. So when things ARE good, you might as well enjoy it, even if it’s just for one night.”

After years as a sought-after photographer, videographer, and creative director for New York's indie scene, rlyblonde reinvented herself in 2023 with her debut EP, ‘Fantasy.’ She launched five self-directed and produced music videos alongside the EP, performed at notable New York City venues, and garnered attention from influencers like The Luna Collective and Unpublished Magazine.

Eager to grow and evolve, rlyblonde has been collaborating with producer and multi-instrumentalist Robbie Guariglia (The Veronicas, Oh Honey, Native Sun) to introduce a new phase of her music. “It’s been such a gift to work with someone who is willing to take the time to properly flesh out a song and sound, who wants to really understand what is going on inside my brain, and who can help me translate all of that into my music," rlyblonde explains of her experience working with Robbie on her new songs. “It’s been invaluable, and I think it shows in the music.”
